This ,a photo of a painting I nearly finished-then stuck behind
the piano a year. My neice Laney,[two now] will be very happy to receive,
on her 10th wedding anniversary,[i have to finish a foot] .I painted
this with
real acrylics
[been doing a lot
of digital lately]
and ,not canvas,
but, on hardboard
[not sure why]. I
took, I don't know,
maybe a dozen shots,
finally snapped one
with all her body parts
in tact.

This is beautiful, and your explanation very funny! *G*
Just beautiful! There arent other words. Brandi
So beautiful! she will b thrilled!
awwww.... I true gift when expression like this can shine through in a painting. Even incomplete to you it is a masterpiece. One day in art class -- on a day I payed attentiong -- the teacher stressed that true art should not be a photograph and that true art stops in interesting places. I find that unfinished foot interesting.
I am curious if others have difficulty regaining techinque after leaving a project for so long. I am never able to return to the canvas with the same approach that I left in.
This is incredibly beautiful. She looks like a tiny angel!
This is very beautiful! Not only should she be happy, but also lucky to have an aunt like you!
Very beautiful. Simple and innocent, really an angel.
some great paintings are the ones that are unfinished...
and let me count this among them. 8)
I also love unfinished images ... add my count!
good luck with the foot, I have a painting that I've been working on for 10 years...some just work that way.
This is very beautiful, she looks like a real angel.
Wonderful! What an expression! Like the use oflight and dark, too...
