looks like someone is doin some serious painting. lov the b/w effect. just an observation but i dont think u'd see the shadow of the arm on the white wall but on the black wall so o guess then maybe u wouldnt see it it at all?
'like the black/white, too....but, I don't agree with Michael....judging by the other shadows, it appears that your light source would be coming from the right...making your shadows be on the white.....where they are...
As an artist - you're constantly climbing- or arriving- on the edge- looking- exploring- trying to figure it out- interpreting- communicating- expressing- imitating life?- life imitating art- taking risks- struggling with ego(s), will you be happy with the results? Crumpling it up - staring over- or just turning it every-which-way. How will the viewer judge me/my work? Should I play it safe or experiment? Should I always try to be honest with myself? Yin yang- dark light- seriousness clowning. No absolutes- so can never be all safe. Or- just clowning around having fun- or making fun. Funny & smart great art.
Like Michael, I really dig the black and white composition in this, and the way you've used it, particularly the reversal on the canvas. There's also something weirdly existentialist here, with the canvas probably being a painting of a canvas - maybe those shadows are painted as well? :)

There is'nt a light and there are no shadows, they're painted on the background by the clown! Hope the paint pot lands on head!! ;-O
what a fun fun fun painting. really enjoy trying to figure out what it is saying!
Another brilliant piece. I really admire your style.
