There is certainly something of a statement here...maybe we're overrunning the world and killing our resources, or perhaps if we all work together, we can grow. I like the minimal palette you used. It highlights the fragile fresh sprout.
they are growing rapidly and there was no more space for each one of them and here they are reaching out for light to make them grow more or a chance to sprout in another world....
Wow! Awesome! Grreat idea and painting here! Very timely- unfortunately-- I just heard on news that oil, gas and natural gas, and coal industries have offered large sums of $'s to scientists if they refute the global warming findings. Don't these industry people care about their children and grandchildren?
Where on EARTH do you live Andydoodler? Sprouts make more sprouts if you piss on them, and you have to drink piss to piss! Read up on climate change ... the Aussies are already *VOMITING* because have run out of water!
There's a book cover somewhere I ran across years ago, and this harkens back to that... "Enemy of the People"? Was that it? Dunno, but another story is being told in your illustration... one that seems to spark lots of conversation and supposition from the commenting folks. Cool.

Very powerful! There's a real sense of passion here. I like your "red" illustration too! I didn't mine posted last week...
I like the 'ghost' effect on some of the foreground figures...a lot of meanings could be attributed here...

I love the simplicity and depth of this. Could be a timeless fable.
reminds me of that one scene in TOMMY, near the end...
