snap

It's quarter to three
There's no one in the place
Except you and me
So set 'em up Joe
I've got a little story
You oughta know
We're drinkin my friend to the end
Of a brief episode
Make it one for my baby
And one more for the road
Lyrics by Johnny Mercer/One For My Baby
SNAP

This one is especially nice of yours! I like the composition and colors.

Have you ever heard "The Piano Has Been Drinking" by Tom Waits? Love that song!

Hmmm, now I'm thirsty. You've captured a luminous, drunken mood here Miri! Love the colors and multiple bottles.

OMG this is fantastic Miri! I hate to say how much time I've spent in bars, working or otherwise, but you have drawn such an atmosphere of such a place. It's inviting yet mysterious. Set em' up.

Thanks for commenting on Wallflower 3! I just posted in minutes before and thought..nobody will see this. and by the way...I have a friend named Meira Oh! Spooky :)

OH WOW SNAP! I'm excited ... this is an amazing image, and bottles (especially lots of them) are a feat to paint! It would be quite a feat to drink that many too ... I see the reflection of naked you in the left front one! Get off the table ... they aren't for dancing upon!! (not in a public place anyway) :)

Wow! and a one- and a two- and a three- and a .... lots. I can hear Ol' Blue Eyes snapping his fingers now. Awesome painting! You've captured the feeling of the song perfectly. Left foreground- in the large bottle-- I see a reflection of someone with large hair - looks like she or he is deep in thought while fiddling w/hands?

Darn it, & I thought you were going to start telling a story! I always thought it took a lot of work to arrange bottles behind a bar. I was out at a place in Morristown called "The Funky Monkey" Saturday night. My friend Jeff & I were probably the oldest guys in the place. Anyhoo, I forgo my usual Jack Daniels for Vodka & Red Bull. It's overrated.

Hi Hardwax. You had mentioned in your comment on my blog, that my posts kept disappearing. I was wondering what you meant by that? Because for some reason when I check my blog, I have to hit the refresh button about 4 or 5 times before some of my illos will pop up. I thought perhaps that was something just happening with my computer and not my blog. Now I'm getting a bit concerned. Thanks for your comment by the way!
