Looking at this made me recall your bananacre piece, but this seems peaceful, - I think the orange blossom does it/turns it around- beeautiful touch. & love your colors and textures as always. I'm starting to see things in the abstract background- sort of like seeing things in the clouds.
I like the hollowed out oranges with juice flowing towards the viewer and the wonderful deep reds you worked in. The orange blossom is a nice touch. After reading the other comments, I think I see some kind of goings on in the pink zone too, but the oranges are the stars in this masterpiece!
WOW! This reminds me of how Paul Cezanne painted apples and oranges! The variations in tone and colour as well as the forms bring their freshness alive. I couldn't leave when viewing them in real - life and your 'citrus' painting does the same to me! Great work :)
