One of my very favorite wedding pictures.
We were so young.

The organic nature of this piece is strangely appealing.. as well as the closeness of both parties in question.

the colourful guests? are a nice touch.. :)

Wonderfully creative. And I love your use of color and design. Very fun piece.

Looks like they reeled each other in - hook line & sinker? Love the colours and form - groovy!

Got me wondering as always- wonderful painting yeah! Great colors and shapes (specially the groom w/ little bow tie- lot's going on with him- what kind of fish is he? Anchorfish (reads the news)?) I see the "M" fish showed up like Al Hitchcock- nice touch haha.
Definitely not a shallow affair and couple. I have an urge to reach in and take those hooks out of them- but the painting just wouldn't be. Love can hurt- so many fish in the sea, and beauty's in the eye of the beholder, and there is someone for everybody. Is this like a mantis type of deal, but the male eats the female instead? or just probably non-sinister part of some fish ceremony? Well there's amazing stuff in the sea.

Did someone throw you both into a bucket of fish and jump up and down in it? HAHAHHAAAA. 'As one', how sweet ... or not :)

There's soooo much going on here!! I love her veil and the "bling" on her hook. Hilarious!! The fishing line making a heart is a nice touch. I think these two were made for each other, young or not. Thanks Miri...I needed a smile today and I can always count on you!

This is so beautifully (and literally ) twisted Miri!! I could try and read into this but I'll refrain and just enjoy it for what it is (of which I'm not sure, which is why I love it).

Overwhelming. Moving. Disturbingly funny. Enough with the superlatives. I kept it up on the screen for probably an hour... doing other things and coming back to it. Those eyes... hypnotic. And those four words that envelop so much... of then and now and the years in between... 'We were so young."
