Very dramatic, and sad. You have such a way of choosing a moment in for your paintings...osten the whole story is mysterious, but always there is a strong feeling that the viewr gets. This one seems to have a story, but all we see is this moment, and it's sad. Great work!

nice quote by poe i think it fits the piece well if u see the pic from that point of view. very pwerful and moving. i like the placement of the ring and how the lighting draws ur attention to it then holds it there.

An amazing image. It's strong, simple - only the most important is showed, and yet we recognize and understand. Great.

Great painting- poetic- says a lot with a little. Is the red anger? or bad? or love? Is the green/blue apathetic? or good?
Love use of color to convey meaning- the darkness and the light and colors of light - with a yin yangish seed of each hand's accent color on opposite sides of ring/circle of love/circle of insanity?

Well this is handy dandy. Well done. Also, puts me in mind of Humphrey Bogart in "The Caine Mutiny" where the character's insanity was shown with him playing with marbles. Thanks for commenting on my sorrowful hand.

Wow, this is powerful and touching. The story behind it is left to the viewers-that is so neat. Wonderful job on this theme.

I love that the eye quickly zooms into the centre of this painting where the focus is, and that you have used so little to say so much.

Yes, you've painted another story, one that needs no words. Great red and blue highlights on the fingers. Beautiful.

Wonderful illustration. It's even better when looking at the larger size. I especially like the details such as the reflection of the gold on the top fingertips. I had to look at your category entry was surprised to see this was a digital inage. I though for sure this was a painting.

How very sad, but maybe its for the best? This is so simple, but so fitting for the topic and a very meaningful illustration.

Those hands are fantastic, the highlights bring out the strength in one and the femininity in the other.

Another wonderful painting. Enjoyed the hot and cold highlights on each hand; which tells the story about the return of the ring.

Oh boy, this one makes me want to cry. Dark & somber, hope apology was accepted!!

Thoughtful smooch,

It's amazing how this piece tells so much. There seems to be a whole story contained in a single frame. It's... incredible. I can't even describe how much it tells me. Fabulous painting.
