What used to be and what is. I like your decision to show the barn from the inside and broken down. The picture of what used to be really sets the mood. I really like looking at this painting, it is very interesting.

Your illustrations always set such dramatic scenes. I've been to this place... either in a real barn or granery... or maybe in my mind. The light plays well across the different surfaces here. Of course that's a very cool owl, as well.

Quite moody and interesting. Such is the fate of the family farm. Unfortunate, huh?

you've used reflected light really well, and the texture is fantastic! Love the spider!

Holy ... ! It seems you outdo yourself every post! Beautiful painting, and concept! Hope someone will come along and rebuild the place - luckily there's some reference left to go by.

Oooh, I love the slivers of sunset on the side of the beams, and the owl. Wonderfully atmospheric, as always!

This is so dramatic and evocative! I love the owl perched on the beam, and the gorgeous light filtering through. There is something hauntingly beautiful about on old building, broken down but still standing. There are ghosts and memories.

This is such a wonderful moody painting. I love the idea of being in an old barn and seeing those bits of light through the boards. Very cool
