Beautiful, as always.

For me the moment in this piece lies between the cracks of time. Completely evocative.

THAT'S IT [quiet]! You captured it perfectly- you're great at creating beautiful and eloquent visuals of what most people can only feel yet not express too well - if at all. I can't really even say what I'm trying to say here. Blah.
It's like poets do with poems- what painters do with paintings. Can say a whole lot with just a few words or brush strokes.

So is that a giant coffee grinder in the background?

Wonderful shadows, love that green light, and the steaming cup!!

Great texture, composition, lighting, colors... wow, everything. Always great to see what you come up with. Really evokes not just the feel of quiet, but a mysterious, almost ominous feeling. There's an Ancient Egyptian look to the posture of the figure.
The steam off the cup and the open box bring the viewer back to familiar ground.

Great, great great rendering, something quiet but something strange too. I love it, good work ;)

Wow- I see it now - adds yet another view and depth! Touching.

In sign language- the hands = S.O.S. I really like the closed open closed mind idea a lot though.
'Things we create often take on a life of their own-- which often means they're successful' = it's a theme in all this I guess.
Goodnight.
