peace

My entries for "help" inspired this piece and Andydoodler.
Maybe, even in desparate situations, a kind of peace can
be found.

Still looks very sad...maybe it is because I've got kids...I really like how you handled the background

i like this miri it gives a sense of hope even in desperate times. i like the way u made the star shine brighter and that there's more of a misty glow around them both now.

I like watching the progression of time. Life may still suck for our benchwarmer, but at least he isn't alone. Merry Christmas to all.

Miri, I love this, it touches my heart! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and your three tell a very warming story! Your art has so much feeling, I think that's what makes you so unique. Very beautiful!

Nice lighting, wish I could get in closer to the image to investigate your technique.

Very tranquil situation. The better half must be taking the picture. So peaceful with a nice shine from the star! Happy New Year .....

This is a beautiful series. I agree - maybe there can be some peace and comfort even in a testing situation. Perhaps this is the real peace we can aspire to. I am very interested in your technique - do you use a Wacom tablet?

This is another very touching painting, Miri. I feel like these two lost souls have found each other and together they will find peace. I love how your work always has a story, and that story changes with the viewer...such a gift you have to evoke so many stories! Peace to you in the New Year!

Touching 'finish' to the series. (Actually, I'd like to see more - maybe the topics will lend themselves).
I really like the lighting, especially, the star shine on the two.
