Geeky

I think Bobby grew up to be a geek, presuming he grew up.

Man, that's some wildly energetic hair. Wait... or so I thought... Now I see Bobby is discovering something with his flashlight (great light and dark values, by the way)... and are those chicken legs in that geeky twistiness? You're making me think more than I should this late in the week (and in the evening).

Bobby has lost me Hardwax HAHA. Now if there was a fireplace nearby, the flashlight would make the smoke look like that. That doesn't explain why Bobby might not have grown. Steroid Chicken barbecue?

Nah. It looks to me like Bobby is up against a predatory plant, or perhaps an octopus-like alien!

I like the painterly style of this.

i guess Bobby is allergic to light but likes to play with it because it creates powerful visual effects.....

It's Bobby's imagination- all in his head?- brought to light for the rest of us by Miri the awesomely imaginative painter. Magic how you do it. Beautiful! (and I think once a geek always a geek- I guess)

Okay Miri, I'm stumped! At first I thought maybe it was a large snake that had him by the wrist, but I can't find a head for the many tails I see. And then I thought maybe he was hallucinating and getting into it :P Maybe it's a science project like Audrey from the little shop of horrors? This is why we love you. You make us use our brains and our imaginations!

I think you are very smart for saying a lot with few words and I love your style more every time I come to visit.

Not always a bad thing to grow up to be--think Bill gates! Anyhow, sorry I missed this wonderfully surreal piece--I can almost picture it in motion, the tentacles growing longer and longer!
