Beautiful illustration, great perspective, love the watching cat!
i agree-the perspective is great and it's creepy----and it makes me think...
Ooh this is great, reminds me a little of de Chirico. Very creepy and atmospheric, one to spend time with :)
This is so creepy, you achieved the atmosphere well! Like the ginger cat too!
Very odd and beautiful. I love it.love
This has a special stopped, dreamlike feeling. I also like the perspective and the small coloured details. You have well captured the moment just before "it" comes. I love Stephen King, but Dean Koontz is as powerful a mystery and scary tale writer. They have different styles, which I like. And I like your style, too. Very talented.
Something wicked this way comes... Your illustrations are so rich in their storytelling. Think I said this once before... but your art would be great to put in front of a creative writing class and have the students interpret.I've only seen Dean Koontz's names on the cover of books... the quote makes me want to open up one of those books.Oh, and the storm clouds below reveal any number of monstrous faces.Missed getting to either of your feet posts last week, but I especially like the Downtown Divas approach.
This is great!! reminded me of Deli's style!! GREAT WORK!
Very eerie!! Awesome job...and, it tells so much! LOVE your other monster illo too!! Dark and ominous! (insert Twilight Zone theme here)....
As ever, your stuff is great. Love the cat looking up, about to run.
What is coming? Maybe some big monster? Or maybe the man with the potatoes he come - everybody happy - mash potato fiesta! You never know. Nice - I like very much!
Wow, such depth and brooding. Great job!
nice composition and depth.
What a dark and mystical beach front town. I feel like a ghost ship is about to land on the shore. Great atmosphere!
OOOH--spooooky stuff. This is an excellent accompanying illustration to the book passage.
Cool. I love the sureal look to this. Great job.
great perspective! I love the cat in the foreground, and is that another one on the rail of a distant balcony?cool illo. spooky.
This is defintely very very scary looking...it's ominous in the way the building and the dark sky crowd us...it makes me feel tense...the walking figure could either be evil or a victim. I love the cat! I agree with twisselman - your paintings would make awesome writing prompts!
A very eerie seeting indeed. Sort of looks like the cat is waiting, but knows what is coming in the distance. Great colors and atmosphere! Great job!
As carla said , I also felt tense when I saw this illo. I t looks like a storm is coming. tripping..I really like this one..
Very nice! love the soft painterly look. Great colors and feel.
what a frightening yet strangely beautiful landscape. I love the mysterious feel of this
I really like your Dean Koontz piece. I like your digital brushy style. I can't figure out whether it's Photoshop or Painter.

Wonderful feel for this piece. It would look great on the book cover. the perspective is awesome.
Wonderful illustration! Great use of colors and I love the 3D/ real look. Also, nice use of contrast. As soon as I saw this picture, I got a spooky feeling.
