Life's tough at floor level!

This vantage point makes me think of the cat's perspective when construction or a move is going on. The cats are so upheaved and at a loss, frantic about what's around the corners they're not familiar with. I love what this kitty represents in all of us. Kind of unsure of "what's next." Love it, Miri.

I love this, again its the perspective that intrigues me - and the colours...and the cat LOL!
Then the next one up, 'new vantage point' - even more mysterious! Love the stripe of stars with composed 'night' cat - tres cool!

How extreme something might be is all according to one's vantage point! I see the two paintings 'almost' as opposites but at the same time as the same. Apart from the subjects used, it depends where I'm standing as to which image is the most extreme. It might be different tomorrow :)

Love the cropped angle Miri!! Is this from a photo or a sketch? The mouse (or cat ?) adds a nice organic touch to the more geometric composition here.

The angle you chose makes for a really nice composition. Great colors too!

Wow! Beeautiful paintings! As always gifted use of form, design, texture, color, tones, and concept. The birds are in hiding here. I guess however anything is interpreted is based on the interpreter's vantage point- where/who/what one is, and where one has been. Cats are at an extreme advantage in the night- cats can see so well still and are in charge then- she/he was waiting till the ceiling opened up to let in the the night sky and its stars- then being confident to engage (stare at) the viewer(s). Reminds me of some myth? dealing with magic and cats and ancient Egypt. Partly as I think I see a pyramid in the first, and maybe a hieroglyph in the second - and the cat, of course, being revered as a god in ancient Egypt. Or could interpret it to illustrate extremes of darks and lights- or this and all of the above- or...

There's no comment bar on the new vantage point, so I'll leave it here. It's wonderful. I especially love the slice of night sky and the warm, cozy feeling of the house. The cat seems content in this world. Everything is as it should be.

This is awesome! It is defintely an extreme angle, and I love the under view of the cat's head. I makes me want to try to figure out where "I'm" standing! The colors and the light in this are very striking... another winner!
