I had to go back and check if it was painted or digital, I love the fact that it looks like thick oil paint. It's brilliant, and I know everyones a critic but do you mind if I say that I find the red birds a little distracting and would prefer it with out them. It's only cause I really like it otherwise.
OH you KNOW I LOVE this!!!! Birds are difficult to paint, but these are PERFECT! Love everything about this image ... all has been said above. However, it is very necessary to let anger out into the open or it turns to rage; so I vote keep the red birds in painting (the redder the better) ;)
"I wish I were a birr-ur-urr-urr-urr-urrd"- I swear I was just thinking of that song yesterday (fm Easy Rider movie). So many bird stories I've been seeing in person and hearing of- they are not "bird brains"- many are actually really bright- specially the red, yellow, blue, and green ones. This scene seems desolate, maybe a bit appocalyptic- but guess I'm not looking at it from a bright bird's point of view. Whatever the case- I see writing in the sky, crosses on the wall- and the big picture= a beautiful painting!!!
Love among the ruins. This is fantastic! I love the angle you chose because it makes great sense that we'd be gazing up at the birds. The old abandoned building is once again filled with life...such a nice thought. And I love pigeons. Lots of people consider them rats with wings but I like them. They deserve a place here. I like how you did your signature "M" too :)

The composition is really graphic and beautiful. The coloured birds give it a whimsical feel.

Also the birds are very pretty :) But I really dig the perspective!

I once had a very nice dream like that! ! It was so peaceful! I think I have visited another dimension. Your paintings make me dream.... :)
Love it--very spooky! The multicolored birds are very interesting too--makes me ponder their significance.
I am sorry I haven't visited in a while, cos every piece I look at takes my breath away.
